A Thurso man has been accused of filming a woman engaged in a sex act at a Caithness nightclub and posting it on an social media website.
Scott Bell, 22, of Upper Burnside Drive, wasn’t present when his case was called at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday and his case was continued without plea.
He is charged on two counts, firstly that he videoed the woman at the Skinandi’s nightspot in Thurso on April 16, in a state of undress and engaged in sexual activity and secondly, committing a breach of the peace by uploading the footage onto the internet.
Fiscal Fraser Matheson said that the prosecution and defence were conferring on a possible plea. Sheriff Andrew Berry continued the case for four weeks.
