A 27-year-old Inverness man who was caught by police with cocaine and cannabis was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid community work.
Alexander Anderson, of Rossal House, Island Bank Road, had earlier admitted the two offences which occurred on September 10, 2015 in Old Edinburgh Road, Inverness.
Sentence had been deferred for a background report.
At Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, defence solicitor Rory Gowans said: “He suffers from depression and anxiety and was using cannabis to get through everyday life.”
