An Aviemore man has been banned from a Scottish Premiership football stadium until after it is decided whether or not he threw a pyrotechnic on to the pitch.
Hayden Stirling, of Craigellachie Crescent, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday and denied culpable and recklessly throwing the incendiary on to the field near players on April 28 this year.
The alleged incident took place during the match between Ross County and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
An intermediate diet was fixed for October 3 and trial for November 1.
Until then, Stirling is banned by a bail condition from entering the Dingwall club’s ground Victoria Park.
