Craig Leadbetter yesterday faced the accusations during a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow. The 25 year-old allegedly carried out the sex attack at a room in the Royal Athenaeum Suites on July 31 last year. He is also said to have attempted to rape another woman there on the same date. Leadbetter, also of Aberdeen, denied the charges. Judge Lord Burns set a trial due to begin on September 27 in Edinburgh.
