Alana Drummond, of Henderson Street, appeared from custody and admitted the shoplifting charge which occurred at the Dalneigh Stores on May 8. Fiscal depute Robert Weir said that as police were dealing with her, she made threats to return to the store “and bottle the staff.” Defence lawyer Neil Wilson said his client could be dealt with in the community where she would get social work and psychological help. But Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood rejected the appeal, telling Drummond: “You do need help but you do not seem willing to take it.”
