A 43-year-old man has been arrested after police recovered class A and B drugs from a car on the A9.
Cocaine and herbal cannabis worth around £16,500 were found after the vehicle was stopped near Daviot yesterday afternoon.
The man is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.
Detective Inspector Peter Mackenzie said: "We are committed to tackling crime involving drugs in our community and this recovery is just the latest example of that.
"Thanks to the support we have from members of the public, we are gathering intelligence and momentum with our fight against illegal drugs.
