Police have recovered Class A drugs worth around £25,000 following a searches of two properties in the city.
The intelligence-led operation by the Community Investigation Unit led to quantities of heroin, MDMA, cocaine and cannabis being recovered from properties in the Lilac Grove and Lomond Way areas on Friday.
A 31-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery and will appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.
Detective Inspector Peter Mackenzie said: “We are committed to tackling crime involving drugs in our community and this recovery is just the latest example of that.
“We will not tolerate it and neither will our communities. We are grateful for the support we have from members of the public who provide intelligence which helps us take drugs off our streets.
“I would urge anyone with information which could help prevent criminal activity to pass it on to us on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
