Jonas Dzingus was spotted on the B9031 Sandhaven to Rosehearty road on Wednesday. And yesterday he was handed a 20-month driving ban after pleading guilty to the offence during an appearance at Peterhead Sheriff Court. Dzingus was breathalysed and found to have 123 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in Scotland is 22. The 65-year-old, of Noble Street in Fraserburgh, was also handed a fine of £400. His not guilty plea to a charge of failing to identify himself as the driver of the Fiat Punto was accepted by the Crown.
