Three men are due to appear at court today following the recovery of a significant cannabis cultivation in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen.
Police carried out a search in a property in the Tollohill Crescent area of the city yesterday morning where a large cultivation was discovered along with other drug paraphernalia.
Three people aged 21, 24 and 32 were subsequently arrested and charged in connection and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
DC Greg Manley said: “Thanks to valuable intelligence we received from the public, a significant cultivation has been intercepted and seized. This is proof of what can be achieved by working together with local communities to make the area you live even safer.
“I cannot stress enough just how crucial the information we receive from the public is in helping us remove illegal substances bound for communities in the North East, and would like to thank those who provided information on this occasion.”
