A 28-year-old Alness man will be sentenced next month after admitting a sex assault on a girl under the age of 13 years in Easter Ross.
Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood called for a background report on Sean Chisholm of Sawmill, at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday after hearing the facts from fiscal depute Michelle Molley.
He will re-appear on May 11, his bail was continued and he was placed on the Sex Offender’s Register.
Defence counsel Niall McCluskey told the Sheriff: “My client has learning difficulties and has a low range of functioning. I would categorise him as vulnerable and quite reclusive.”
