An 25-year-old autistic Inverness man denies posting graphic and extreme pornographic images of a woman on her social media account without her permission as part of a stalking campaign.
Daniel Garden, of Woodlands Park, went on trial before a jury at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday denying six charges involving possessing, downloading and distributing indecent and extreme videos and images of children as well as bestiality videos and images.
He also pleads not guilty to causing two people to see images of bestiality. The offences are alleged to have taken place between July, 2014, and November 2016.
The court heard that a computer was seized from Garden’s home and a police analyst found a total of five indecent videos involving children and 35 bestiality videos and 227 still photographs.
Mark Ferguson told the court that five of the bestiality videos appeared to be home-made.
He said they were stored in a folder labelled with a female’s first name, similar to the woman named in the stalking charge.
The trial, which is expected to last four days, continues.
