A man led police on a chase around Bridge of Don after being caught with thousands of pounds worth of drugs in a supermarket carrier bag.
Darren Ewen appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
The offence happened on Simpson Road, on January 31.
Ewen, 27, whose address was given as HMP Grampian, had a carrier bag stuffed with 485 grams of the Class-B drug, with an estimated street value of £3,000 when he was confronted by police. He ran away from officers, who chased him and managed to detain him. Sheriff William Summers jailed him for 10 months.
