A Liverpool drug dealer who was involved in supplying cocaine in Inverness will be sentenced next month.
At Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, 38-year-old Steven Kitching, of June Road, admitted the offence committed in Academy Street on August 7 last year.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting Jamie Thow on July 18 by spitting on him, seizing hold of him and struggling with him.
Kitching also admitted failing to appear for a court hearing on January 16 this year.
Defence solicitor Graham Mann said Kitching had previous drugs and assault convictions but asked Sheriff David Sutherland to call for a background report.
The Sheriff agreed but added: “I am not sure where it is going to take us.”
Kitching will re-appear on July 19.
