A north-east man has been banned from driving for two years after he was caught on the roads without a licence – two decades after he was disqualified.
Justin Cumming, whose address was given as Howatt Park, Sandhaven, was pulled over by police while driving his partner’s car without a licence or insurance.
Yesterday he admitted the offences at Peterhead Sheriff Court.
The 40-year-old was on College Bounds, Fraserburgh, when he was spotted by police on May 28.
The court heard that Cumming was banned from driving in 1997 and had not re-sit his test since.
Sheriff Christine McCrossan banned him for a further two-years and ordered him to complete 90 hours of unpaid work within the next nine months.
She also admonished him for driving while uninsured.
