Officers searched the vehicle after smelling cannabis coming from Robert McKenzie’s hired car on June 22 this year. Inverness Sheriff Court heard they also found a lock-knife, which 27-year-old McKenzie of Balloan Road, Inverness, claimed he used for work. McKenzie admitted illegal possession of the knife and the drugs, and was fined a total of £700.
