A 26-year-old woman from Shetland has had her vehicle seized after appearing from custody accused of drink driving.
Amy Arthur, of Voe, made no plea on a charge of driving on unclassified road at her home address on Friday with 108 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml breath. The legal limit is 22 microgrammes.
She was released from custody on the condition that she does not drive or is in charge of a motor vehicle while she is on bail.
A Crown request to seize Arthur’s vehicle in the meantime was granted, with procurator fiscal Duncan Mackenzie saying that if the case ends in conviction then the vehicle may be forfeited.
Arthur will reappear at Lerwick Sheriff Court next Wednesday.
