Two north-east men accused of carrying out an armed robbery at a Fraserburgh home were seen coming in and out of a nearby property near the time.
Slessor Buchan and Scott Fowler are on trial at the High Court in Aberdeen where they are alleged to have robbed Colin Verral’s home in Fraserburgh earlier this year.
The duo are accused of demanding drugs and money, pointing a gun into Mr Verral’s face, shooting it into the ceiling, kneeing him and taking money and an iPhone, while acting with others.
The court previously heard from Mr Verral who claimed two men wearing masks barged into his home in the early hours of the morning and took a gun to him and removed his trousers.
And this morning the court heard from Detective Constable Gary Johnstone who viewed CCTV as part of investigations.
He told the court he had viewed some from a property on Gallowhill Road which was played to the jury of ten men and five women.
At 10.20pm on Friday January 6, the day before the alleged incident, a man DC Johnstone identified as Fowler entered the property and ten minutes later he said the two men entered together.
He claimed along with others they left at 1.39am and after they were lost to sight an Astra was seen driving in the direction of Hamilton Road.
The court previously heard from Fowler’s wife Angie who said he owned a silver Astra.
Later on the court was shown footage from a bowling club on Union Grove.
At 1.43am an Astra was seen turning right onto Queen Mary Street.
Detective Sergeant Johnstone showed the jurors a map showing that Gray Street was the first turn off on the right from where the vehicle turned.
Fowler, 39, and Buchan, 37, both deny the charges against them. The trial, before Lord Uist, continues.
