A 51-year-old woman has been charged by police after £2500 worth of drugs were seized in Inverness.
Quantities of cocaine, heroin and herbal cannabis were recovered from a car which was stopped on Huntly Place by officers on Monday, with an estimated value of around £2500.
The woman is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court in relation to the charge today.
Constable Michael Clark said: “We are committed to tackling crime involving drugs in our community and this recovery is just the latest example of that.
“We will not tolerate it and neither will our communities. We are grateful for the support we have from members of the public who provide intelligence which helps us take drugs off our streets.
“I would urge anyone with information which could help prevent criminal activity to pass it on to us on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
