Emergency services were called to the A98 Buckie to Banff road in Cullen on Saturday following reports of a skirmish following a crash involving motorbikes and cars.
Now four men have appeared in Elgin Sheriff Court – all facing five charges of assault to danger of life and danger of life.
Ian Ewing, 42, Patrick Noble, 51, Kyle Urquhart, 21, all from Aberdeen, and Ian Yeomans, 56, from Peterhead, all made no plea or declaration during the court appearance.
