The fight to recoup money from two north-east sisters who duped thousands of slimmers has been delayed for two weeks.
Helen Buchan, 52, and Carol Wiseman, 50, made more than £2million by selling counterfeit treatments through their firm Secret Diet Drops, which offered fake remedies to burn fat.
They were fined £9,000 in 2016 and the Crown has been pursuing them under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Records show that Secret Diet Drops was formally dissolved three months after the fine was issued.
No reason has been given for the compulsory strike-off, but Companies House can take such action after multiple attempts have been made to collect unpaid tax.
Buchan of Greenbank Grove, Fraserburgh and Wiseman of Burns Place, Fraserburgh appeared at a hearing at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday.
The pair will return to the dock on November 7 when the case calls again.
