A Fraserburgh man has appeared in court after drugs worth £3,000 were found during a stop and search by police.
Officers discovered the crack cocaine and heroin after speaking to Deniss Poludnicins in the town’s Bona Place.
They also found approximately £500 in cash and charged the 18-year-old with drugs offences.
Poludnicins appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday where he made no plea and was released on bail.
PC Michael Stone said: “This has been a significant recovery of a substantial amount of crack cocaine and heroin which would only have been bound to spread misery and harm in the community.
“We are grateful to our communities once again for supporting us and coming forward with information.”
