A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following an alleged robbery near a north-east supermarket ATM.
Aaron Dines, known as Aaron Morrison, appeared in a private at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday.
He faces charges of assault to severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder as well as charges of possession of a weapon and hindering the police.
The 39-year-old, whose address was given as Fraserburgh, made no plea.
It follows an incident on November 29 on Buchan Road, Fraserburgh, where a 30-year-old was allegedly found in a serious but not-life threatening condition.
Morrison was fully committed in Peterhead Sheriff Court and released on bail.
He will appear in court at a later date.
