The aftermath of a family funeral led to a Beauly man being arrested for a drunken disturbance outside his house.
Dylan Drummond had been at the service with his 22-year-old partner Katerina Williamson after the death of his uncle on December 4.
But he had too much to drink and when the couple returned home, she told him to go to his bed, Inverness Sheriff Court heard yesterday.
However Drummond continued drinking and Miss Williamson decided that he could not stay in their home at Orchard Park and threw him out at about 10.30pm.

She then phoned the police to have him arrested, because Drummond was on a bail condition with a 7pm to 7am curfew.
The father of her three children then began shouting and swearing outside the house, banging on the doors and accidentally smashed a window as he threw away a toy scooter in a rage.
His trial was told that when officers arrived, Drummond continued with his behaviour and he was arrested.
Drummond denied behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards his partner. But after Miss Williamson told Sheriff Margaret Neilson that she was not “terrified” of Drummond and didn’t feel threatened or scared of him. She added that she would have “battered him” if the police didn’t arrest him.
After all the evidence was heard, Drummond was convicted of disorderly behaviour while on bail, a charge to which he offered a guilty plea prior to trial.
But it was refused by fiscal depute Niall Macdonald.
Sentence was deferred until February 14 for a background report and Drummond’s bail was continued.
