An Easter Ross man who had been under a court order not to approach or contact his ex-partner defied the ban and frightened her, a court heard yesterday.
Inverness Sheriff Court was told yesterday that a non-harassment order (NHO) had been imposed at Tain Sheriff Court on June 27, 2016, to protect Hannah Taylor from 37-year-old James Bradshaw.
But on November 23 last year he went to the address of a friend of Ms Taylor’s in Coul Park, Alness and took her out of the house and into a caravan a short distance away.
Fiscal depute Robert Weir said: “Inside he told her he still loved her and had not got over her. He fluctuated between sorrow and rage and was clearly volatile.
“She was frightened. She made an excuse that she needed the toilet and hid in a garden and called the police.
“He left seemingly to find her and called her on six occasions during which the constables listened on loud speaker and recognised his voice.”
Bradshaw, described as an Inverness prisoner, admitted breaching the NHO and had sentence deferred for a background report.
