A woman has been banned from the road after admitting driving nearly seven times over the legal limit.
Jacquelyn Jenkins was caught while driving on an unclassified road near to Millbrex, Fyvie on Wednesday, April 17.
When police caught up with the 57-year-old, she gave a positive breath test, recording a reading of 149 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 22.
Jenkins appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday and pled guilty to drink driving.
She also admitted to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Jenkins, whose address was given in court papers as Lethenty, Fyvie, was handed an immediate driving ban.
Sentence was deferred for a criminal justice social work report and Jenkins will return to the dock next month.
