Two men have been charged in relation to the alleged theft of a vehicle, road traffic offences and a theft by housebreaking in the Shaw Crescent area of Aberdeen.
Jason Cox, 46, and Kirstopher Simpson, 42, who are from Aberdeen appeared at
Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday and made no plea.
The incidents occurred on Saturday 27 April and Monday 29 this year.
Detective Sergeant John Lumsden said: “Police Scotland is committed to tackling acquisitive crime.
“We will use all available means to ensure that those responsible for carrying out these types of crimes are held to account, and where possible, to return stolen property to the rightful owners.
“If anyone notices any unusual or suspicious activity in their area I would ask that they call Police Scotland on 101, ideally at the time.”
Cox and Simpson were both remanded in custody will make their next court appearance within eight days.
