A 65-year- old Aviemore train passenger who made sexual comments and gestures towards two women before propositioning a staff member will be sentenced later this month.
Robert Mackintosh’s threatening and abusive behaviour offence, which he admitted at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, occurred on March 20 this year between Inverness and Carrbridge.
The court heard that the two women changed carriage but were followed by Mackintosh who then sat close to them.
After he was asked to leave the train, he then gestured aggressively to train staff.
Mackintosh, of Burnside Road, will re-appear for sentence on May 23.
