A 25-year-old Easter Ross woman created a disturbance in Inverness while she was living in the city.
Rachel Grant, now of Firhill, Alness, but previously of Rosehaugh Road, Inverness, got drunk on December 15 and was challenging people to fight in the city centre.
Inverness Sheriff Court was told that after she was detained and taken to Burnett Road Police Station, she obstructed police in their duty by struggling with an officer and scratching her wrists.
Grant admitted both offences and was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid community work as an alternative to custody. She also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with an undertaking to police that she would appear at court on January 3 this year.
She was fined £100 for this offence.
