An Inverness man spent his 37th birthday in police cells on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs in the Highlands.
Andrew Bell made no plea at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
The court appearance comes after a quantity of herbal cannabis valued at around £60,000 was allegedly recovered when a van was stopped in the Clachnaharry area of Inverness by police officers on Monday.
