A teenager had his case continued without plea after appearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court accused of a string of offences including damaging vehicles at a town-centre work site and possessing a knife in a public place.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared from custody yesterday.
He was released on bail with a curfew.
He is accused of smashing a door window on a digger and a forklift at a Lerwick construction yard on May 1, while he is also charged with damaging the door of another forklift by forcing it with an implement.
He is also accused of possessing two metal blades and a knife in a public place at the work site on the same day.
He was further charged with slashing and puncturing tyres on four vans on the same day on Commercial Road and also on Commercial Street.
He is also accused of possessing a knife in a public place in Lerwick on July 8, as well as possessing cannabis resin, and stealing a bottle of spirits from the Lerwick Co-op on March 26.
