A teenager has appeared in court accused of a spate of thefts as well as drink-driving.
Norman Stewart, from Buckie, was arrested and charged following alleged incidents in the Kessock Road area of the town overnight between Sunday and Monday.
Stewart is accused of theft by housebreaking, theft of a motor vehicle and theft by opening a lockfast place.
He is also accused of driving under the influence while disqualified.
Yesterday the 19-year-old made no plea when he appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court.
He was denied bail and is expected to appear at court at a later date.
