A 32-year-old Inverness woman will be sentenced next month after fighting in the city centre.
At Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, Tammy Smith of Lochalsh Court admitted the offence which occurred in High Street on June 19, 2017.,
The court was told that Smith had been sitting on a bench drinking when she became aggressive with a woman after demanding alcohol from her.
Fiscal depute Alex Swain said: “They began fighting, and Smith pulled her hair and bit her cheek.”
Smith pleaded guilty to a breach of the peace by fighting. As she is currently on a community payback order, Sheriff Margaret Neilson deferred sentence until September 12 for a background report.
