A London man who used an Inverness house as “a drug den” was jailed for six months yesterday.
Andrew Eyers, 36, of Wise Lane, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin on October 2, 2017.
He also admitted illegally possessing a screwdriver and a packet of blades in a public place on January 16, 2018.
Inverness Sheriff Court was told that police searched an address in the city’s Woodlands Place while Eyers was present and found 18 mobile phones, £1,561 in cash, a tick list and a wrap with a small amount of heroin.
His DNA linking him to some items was also discovered, the court heard.
The court was told he had been reported to police after being ejected from Bar One in Academy Street and was later traced to the Caledonian Bar.
Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood said: “This house was being used as a drug den and he was actively involved in dealing.”
