The officers helped 41-year-old Gary Scobbie, of Dunabban Road, Inverness, cough it up and spit it out on November 5. Scobbie had been stopped in Huntly Place on suspicion of possessing drugs. The wrap contained 2 grams of the Class A substance, worth between £150-£250. Solicitor John MacColl said his client was “no longer using or abusing”. Scobbie, who admitted at Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday possessing a controlled drug, was ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid community work.
