Warren Dyker, 39, stole more than £1,300 in candles and perfume from the Boots store in the city’s Bon Accord Centre. He visited the retailer on September 29, October 4 and October 11, making off with hundreds of pounds of merchandise each time. Dyker, of Charlotte Street, Aberdeen, admitted the thefts at the city’s sheriff court yesterday. None of the items were recovered and Sheriff Graham Buchanan heard Dyker had recently been released early from a previous prison sentence. He ordered him to complete the remaining 135 days of that term before imposing an additional period behind bars for the thefts.
