Road policing officers in Aberdeen are appealing for dashcam footage after an alleged hit and run in the city centre.
The incident is said to have happened at around 2.20pm on Monday in Powis Terrace at the junction with Bedford Road.
A 66-year-old man is alleged to have been hit by a car and remains in a serious condition with chest and leg injuries in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A 22-year-old appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with road traffic offences.
A second man, 33, also appeared on Thursday in connection with road traffic offences.
Officers are appealing for footage of the grey Lexus IS motor car registered number SC06 XEL which is said to have been involved and is believed to have travelled on the following roads prior to the collision:

Road Policing Sergeant Alexander Bowser-Riley said: “I’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance so far in this investigation as we continue our enquiries.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage of this vehicle on these roads leading up to the incident and would urge people to contact police as soon as possible.”

As is standard procedure, the matter has been referred to PIRC.
