A 33-year-old has appeared in court to face a murder charge after a man was found dead in Aberdeen.
Stuart Quinn, of no fixed abode, appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court.
He faced one charge of murder and made no plea.
He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody. He is expected to appear in court again next week.
Today police named the alleged victim as Alan Geddes, 56, from Aberdeen. His family paid tribute to the “devoted dad, brother, uncle and friend” in a statement through the police.
