An Aberdeen man is to stand trial accused of impersonating a police officer.
Stuart Kennedy, 37, is alleged to have activated flashing lights in the back of a grey Honda Civic to pull over a vehicle on St Machar Drive on February 13.
He is then said to have spoken to another road user and “uttered remarks” to imply he was a serving police officer.
Kennedy of Don Street, denied the charge at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday and will go on trial later this year.
Update: All charges against Stuart Kennedy were dropped by the Crown Office during a trial on February 24, 2022.
