A 35-year-old has been charged with assault and is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today following an incident in Muir of Ord yesterday.
Police were called to the incident, believed to have taken place in the area around Drovers Court yesterday, where locals reported spotting an area cordoned off by police tape as officers conducted inquiries in the area.
A spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 35-year-old man has been charged after two men and a woman were assaulted at Muir of Ord on Thursday April 30.
“The victims suffered minor injuries.
“He is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.”
