A man has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Moray police station. Kyle MacKinnon, from Elgin, allegedly seized the woman by the body and attempted to kiss her on an occasion between November 28 and December 18, 2018. Yesterday the 36-year-old denied all the three charges he faces when his case called at Elgin Sheriff Court. MacKinnon, of Dove Avenue in Elgin, who was not present in court, pleaded not guilty in a letter sent to prosecutors by his solicitors. He is also accused of repeatedly sending images of a sexual nature to the same woman between the same dates. The final charge alleges that he also repeatedly sent messages of a sexual nature through social media during the same period. MacKinnon’s case will next call in court on February 16 next year.
