A woman has admitted committing fraud by pretending to be a registered nurse.
Lisa Grant, 54, appeared at Oban Sheriff Court yesterday.
She pleaded guilty to a charge that at Burnbrae, Appin, she pretended to Fabia Gray that she was a qualified nurse, and provided her with a forged identity badge stating she was a qualified nurse.
Grant, of 1 Dalchork Farm, Lairg, also provided Ms Gray with a false National Insurance number, inducing her to employ her and obtaining £688.40 in remuneration, together with sole use of Craig Cottage, Appin.
The offence was committed between December 9, 2013 and January 14, 2014.
Sheriff Douglas Small said: “This is a serious offence. I am going to need to get background reports.”
