Four men have appeared in court for a second time after police seized more than £1 million worth of cannabis in Peterhead.
Justas Brazinskas, 25, Romualdas Galdikas, 42, Arturas Litkinas, 31, and Tadas Jurjonas, 44, all of Peterhead, are accused of several charges of producing and supplying a controlled drug.
Brazinskas and Jurjonas each face four charges of producing a drug and one of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Meanwhile, Galdikas and Litkinas each face four charges of producing a drug and two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
All four, who addresses were all given as Peterhead, made no plea during the private hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court .
A spokeswoman for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service confirmed all four accused were remanded in custody while the case against them was fully committed.
No date has been fixed for their next appearance in connection with the matter.
It comes after police revealed they had seized more than £1 million of cannabis following searches of four properties in Peterhead last week.
Officers from the organised crime and counter-terrorism unit were involved in the searches, along with local teams on Monday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 23.
