Two people have appeared in court after drugs worth £50,000 were seized at an Aberdeen quay.
A man and woman appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after officers stopped a vehicle at the Ferry Terminal, Jamieson Quay, Aberdeen, and recovered heroin worth £50,000 on Sunday.
Daryl Black, 34, and Kelly Gibson, 41, both of Glasgow, appeared in court charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs and possession of drugs.
They made no plea and Black was remanded in custody while Gibson was released on bail.
The case against them was committed for further examination. Black was expected to appear again in the next week but no date was set for Gibson’s next appearance.
