A brazen shoplifter walked into Asda and walked out with a TV – three times.
Ryan Gray appeared in the dock at Aberdeen Sheriff Court over the matter.
The 19-year-old pled guilty to three separate shoplifting charges of stealing a television from Asda on Riverview Drive in Dyce.
Defence agent Gregor Kelly told the court: “He simply walks in and walks out. It beggars belief.”
He added: “He was in the throws of heroin addiction at the time.”
The incidents happened on February 8, 11 and 13.
Mr Kelly said his client was serving a period of detention in relation to a separate matter and asked for sentence to be deferred until after his release.
Sheriff Andrew Miller deferred sentence until August for Gray, of Fifehill Park, Dyce, for him to be of good behaviour following his release.
