Adrian Pearson, 55, was seen arguing with the woman on Charlotte Street in Aberdeen by a member of the public. Fiscal depute Rebecca Clark told Aberdeen Sheriff Court he proceeded to “forcefully slap her once to the face”. Another member of the public also observed him grab the woman by the throat.
