A passenger shouted at airport staff and smashed an information screen after being kicked off his plane for being too drunk.
Nathan Jackson, 33, was removed from his flight at Aberdeen International Airport before shouting and swearing at airport staff prompting police to be called.
Depute fiscal Anna Chisholm said: “He was spoken to by the captain who refused air travel at that stage before the plane had taken off.”
He did get off the plane but was shouting, swearing and “behaving aggressively towards staff members”.
Ms Chisholm added: “He passed an electronic flight information screen and he punched it with his right fist causing it to be damaged. I’m told the repair cost £955.96.”
When police arrived, he was taken to cells at the airport where he kicked and headbutted the cell door.

Jackson, of Taunton Avenue in North Shields, was not present in court but pled guilty via letter over the incident which happened on August 13.
He admitted entering an aircraft while drunk, maliciously destroying a flight information screen and two charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Sheriff Andrew Miller deferred sentence until next month for a social work report and Jackson to be personally present.
