Image: Scott Baxter/DC Thomson A man has appeared in court after a 48-year-old was found with a serious head injury following a wedding. Christopher Allison appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the incident. The 27-year-old faced a single charge of assault to severe injury and danger of life. Officers were called to the Marriott at Dyce at around 10.50pm on Saturday. The 48-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he was in a serious condition following the incident. It is understood he was found injured at the top of the stairs leading down to the toilets in the hotel. Allison, whose general address was given as Aberdeen, made no plea during the behind-closed-doors hearing. A spokeswoman for the Crown Office confirmed he was released on bail.
