A man told police officers he “celebrated” when Raoul Moat attacked cops in England and threatened to “unleash the monster”.
Stuart Cook, 28, went on a foul-mouthed rant at officers at Kittybrewster Police Office after he was arrested over an unrelated matter on January 14.
Fiscal depute Felicity Merson told Aberdeen Sheriff Court officers noted Cook behaving “erratically” and using racist and homophobic language.
She said he mentioned Raoul Moat, who infamously shot and blinded a police officer in England, and said he was “celebrating” and “more people should treat the police like that”.
Officers were “concerned” by his comments and he continued to shout and swear.
Ms Merson said Cook made comments including “you’re lucky I’ve got cuffs on”, “I could take you”, and “I will unleash the monster”.
