A man has appeared in court today accused of dangerous driving in a crash that killed three people.
Two cars and a Citylink coach were involved in the tragedy on the A90 at Drumlithie.
Marin Rachev, 34, made no plea when he appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.
He will appear in court again within the next eight days.
Two men and one woman – understood to be foreign nationals – were travelling in the same car, a red Renault Megane, when it was in a collision with the coach and a Ford B Max on Tuesday afternoon.
The road was closed in both directions for almost 24 hours while a meticulous investigation was carried out at the scene.
