John Robertson, 32, appeared yesterday for sentencing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. He was previously found guilty following a trial of assaulting the girl at an address in Aberdeen. Robertson threw her, fully clothed, into a cold bath and pushed her head into yoghurt between December 2013 and January 2017. He was also found guilty of shouting, swearing and struggling with police on October 14 2017. Sheriff Ian Wallace fined Robertson, of Brands Butt, Inverurie, £800.
